Part 2: Gym Leader Battles Strategy
The Ilos region features 8 Gym Leaders with diverse types and strategies. Here's how to defeat each one.
Gym 1: [First City] - Rock Type
Recommended Level: 12-15
Counters: Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground types
Best Starters: Popplio, Froakie, Quaxly, Rowlet
Strategy: Rock types are slow but hit hard. Use special attacks when possible. Watch out for Rock Tomb which lowers speed.
Reward: Boulder Badge + TM80 Rock Throw
Gym 2: [Second City] - Water Type
Recommended Level: 18-22
Counters: Electric, Grass types
Best Pokemon: Catch an Electric type in Route 2 before this gym
Strategy: Water types in Pokemon Lazarus often have Ice coverage. Bring a Ground type as backup.
Gym 3: [Third City] - Electric Type
Recommended Level: 25-28
Counters: Ground types (immune to Electric)

Part 3: Elite Four & Champion Strategy
The Pokemon Lazarus Elite Four is a serious challenge. Recommended level: 55-60 (Normal), 60-65 (Hard Mode)
Elite Four Preparation

- ✅ Ensure your team is level 55+ minimum
- ✅ Have type coverage for all major types
- ✅ Bring status healing items (Full Heals)
- ✅ Save before entering - you can't leave once inside

- Ground Type (for Electric/Steel/Poison coverage)
